- Review available original files, formats and metadata.
- Technical listening, transcription marking uncertain passages and documented enhancement where feasible.
- Examine discontinuities and compare recordings in relation to the question.
Reporting the findings
Report, agreed transcripts and processed copies kept separate from originals.
Conditions and limitations
Enhancement cannot recreate missing information. Voice attribution and authenticity require specific assessment and are not automatic conclusions.
Specialist work is agreed only after assessing feasibility, authorisations, expertise and tools required.
